Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge has one of the most admired lobbies at Walt Disney World Resort. Upon entering Jambo House, guests are amazed by the intricately woven nature and African culture. From the shiny floors that reflect the majesty to the details on each floor, this space is a stunning four stories tall. The lobby has a glass wall that overlooks a private animal observation area where you may spot zebras or giraffes among other fascinating creatures. Animal Kingdom Lodge provides unique recreation and dining you won’t find at any other resort. With night vision animal spotting and restaurants that dazzle taste buds, you’ll be enchanted with all there is to see, do and eat as a Disney Vacation Club Member at Animal Kingdom Lodge.
Special spaces were created with Disney Vacation Club Members in mind. The Kidani Village DVC area of the resort has its own impressive pool setting, surrounded in nature, that features a water slide, water play section and two whirlpool spas. There’s something for everyone on an Animal Kingdom Lodge pool day. The Kidani Village lobby feels like a smaller scale version of the main lobby and brings just as much wonder to all who visit. Inspiring African proverbs line the walls as excitement for the day’s adventure fills the halls. Kidani Village also has one of the most exciting restaurants at Walt Disney World.
Sanaa has a flavorful and memorable bread service and offers views of wildlife in a decorative setting with ornate lighting fixtures. The dining options at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge overall are some of the most delicious, authentic and unique at Disney with menu items you’ll want to return for. Striped, liquor mousse mounds called Zebra Domes are the popular dessert item at the Boma – Flavors of Africa buffet restaurant. Those who enjoy fine dining will love the seasonal menu and wine selections at Jiko – The Cooking Place.
Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge is an uplifting home resort filled with African inspiration and appreciation for nature.
