Some signature Disney Vacation Club Resort restaurants are finally reopening! We faithfully included these dining locations in our Animal Kingdom dining guide, BoardWalk dining guide and Saratoga Springs dining guide knowing it was only a matter of time before guests could enjoy them again. If you're ready to plan one of the restaurants mentioned into your next trip, reservations are open for booking now. Something to consider before booking: check the menu for your favorites. It's likely chefs, staff, and menus have changed. On the contrary, this might be a good time to try a new restaurant now that offerings have been revamped.

Flying Fish at Disney’s BoardWalk reopens January 27th

Flying Fish at Disney’s BoardWalk will reopen with signature seafood dishes and steak. Expect items like Seafood Pearl Pasta, Plancha-seared Scallops and the chocolate dessert Cocoa Breach on the menu. The BoardWalk does have quite a few other dining options but the return of Flying Fish is an exciting and polished addition.

The Turf Club Bar and Grill at Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa reopens February 3rd

The Turf Club is near the golf course at Saratoga Springs and known for its American flavors and nods to New York. For starters try a French Onion Soup or Grilled Artichokes. There's New York Cheesecake for dessert. Note that The Turf Club will not be open every day but is closed Monday and Tuesday upon reopening. This isn't the first restaurant to reopen on a part time schedule. Looking at you, Trail's End and Citricos! This is likely due to staffing and balancing resources. Hopefully we can count on fully opened restaurants soon. Planning around these kinds of closures can be tricky.

Jiko – The Cooking Place at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge reopens February 17th

Jiko brings us tastes from Africa, India, and the Mediterranean. Located right next to Boma, Jiko has a fancier feel and beautiful views. It's a great date night spot.

Cape May Café at Disney’s Beach Club Resort brings back buffets February 15th

Cape May Café is a favorite for many. It reopened serving a family style dinner but is returning to its full buffet operation in February. Making its way back to the buffet is the seafood boil. The smell from this overcomes you in the hallway near the restaurant! There are also cornbread and salad options offered here. The breakfast buffet at Cape May Café is also returning and a guest favorite. Hopefully the characters will be back soon.

Ale & Compass at Disney's Yacht Club buffet reopens January 31st

Similar to what The Wave used to have at the Contemporary, the Ale & Compass small breakfast buffet will return. Buffets have been an iffy thing since Disney restaurants have reopened. Many were temporarily replaced with family style offerings brought to the table. Ale & Compass will also have new lunch items but they weren't mentioned in particular. This is one of the prettiest restaurants at Walt Disney World with its dark and dreamy blue interiors.
