Calling all animals, reptiles, and DVC Members…Moonlight Magic is back at Animal Kingdom this summer! During the 50th Anniversary Disney has been unleashing magic daily, making Walt Disney World feel like it did before the global pandemic. And Moonlight Magic is another thing Disney Vacation Club members are thrilled to have back into their Disney family vacations. For those newer DVC members who have yet to experience the enchantment that is Moonlight Magic- let us fill you in. Moonlight Magic Events are events that offer after hours access to select parks on specific dates for eligible members. Eligible Disney Vacation Club Members have after park access to the park filled with special character sightings, complimentary refreshments and treats, shorter wait times and magical entertainment dreamed up with Disney Vacation Club Members in mind.  

Earlier this year Disney released Moonlight Magic hours for the other three parks this year on the following dates.

Disney’s Epcot: March 17, 2022 and March 31,2022

Disney’s Hollywood Studios: May 24, June 16, and July 14 2022

And now Disney’s Animal Kingdom will be bringing DVC Members there much missed Moonlight Magic on July 26th, August 31st, and September 28th! 

These events are extremely popular and in high demand, so making a reservation as soon as you are capable is highly recommended. The online registration portal will be open June 28, 202 at 11AM EDT for all DVC Members with a DVC hotel reservation that overlaps with the announced Moonlight Magic dates. All DVC Members will be able to register for Moonlight Magic on July 13,2022 at 11AM EDT, if spots are still available.  

Tips for Making Online Reservations:

1.) Have your DVC Member number ready. 

This will be one of the first things you will need to have when making a reservation. (Delay to provide DVC Member number can reboot you can knock you out of the virtual waiting room.)

2.) Once you put in your number, the site will redirect you to a virtual waiting room, which will hold your spot in the virtual queue. 

3.) DO NOT HIT BACK OR REFRESH PAGE. Doing so will have you have to log in again and you will lose your place in line. 

4.) Once your turn is ready, you’ll be redirected to the event registration form. 

DVC Members are beyond excited for the return of Moonlight Magic and now with the event returning at Animal Kingdom….we are already giving it two paws up!
