Everything You Need To Know About Saratoga Springs

Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa is one of the largest DVC resorts at Walt Disney World, and it feels more like a neighborhood than a hotel. Inspired by the historic upstate New York town known for its horse racing and mineral springs, it spreads across rolling grounds with winding paths, shaded porches, and plenty of room to spread out. It's also right across the water from Disney Springs, which makes shopping and dining a stroll or a short boat ride away.

Opened in 2004, the resort is designed as a collection of themed areas, each with its own pool, landscaping, and character, drawn from the Victorian-era architecture and the equestrian heritage of its namesake. Villas range from studios to three-bedroom Grand Villas, with full kitchens in the larger layouts and plenty of space for families and groups. The scale of the resort gives owners a lot of choice, and it is easy to find a quiet corner or a lively pool depending on your mood.

Life at Saratoga Springs revolves around the pools and the easy access to Disney Springs. High Rock Spring Pool is the signature, with a long water slide and plenty of room to relax, while smaller pools around the resort keep things quieter. A boat and a walking path connect you to Disney Springs, and the resort's spa offers a calm place to unwind after a long park day. It's a good fit for owners who want space, variety, and a home resort that never feels crowded.

For buyers, Saratoga Springs is one of the most popular and accessible entry points into DVC resale. The deed runs through 2054, and 2026 annual dues are $9.18 per point. Because it's a large resort with many contracts on the market, buyers typically have more choice and more flexibility on points and use years than at smaller resorts. Price per point has generally been more approachable than at the resorts closest to Magic Kingdom. If you want a roomy, well-priced home resort with easy access to Disney Springs, Saratoga Springs is hard to beat.
