Every time something reopens at a Disney destination, the world just feels more magical. We’re happy to report another Disney restaurant is reopening this year at Aulani. ‘AMA ‘AMA will open to guests again in the fall of 2022 though we do not have a specific date at this time. ‘AMA ‘AMA is considered Aulani’s signature oceanside restaurant. It will only be open for dinner and reservations for this ideal sunset viewing spot are not yet available though should be in the coming months.
‘AMA ‘AMA Reopening at Aulani
The reimagining of ‘AMA ‘AMA will include a new menu and the interior will feature updates as well. According to the Disney Parks Blog: “New light fixtures inspired by traditional Hawaiian fish baskets and an alluring central light fixture composed of fin-like elements that swim above the entrance, enhance the connection between the restaurant and its namesake, the ‘ama‘ama fish –historically the most abundant and vital fish of Hawai‘i.” A stunning chandelier or lighting fixture can really update a space and make a statement.

Aulani, A Disney Resort and Spa is Disney Vacation Club’s Hawaiian resort. The hotel features a world class spa and an incredible pool and water play area with winding waters and lush landscaping. Aulani is located on the island of O’ahu about twenty miles from Honolulu. Nearby places to explore include Pearl Harbor and the U.S.S. Arizona Memorial, Kualoa Ranch where Jurassic Park movies and Jumanji were filmed and, of course, many world class beaches.
