Can You See Fireworks From Disney BoardWalk?

Can You See Fireworks From Disney BoardWalk?

Disney’s BoardWalk is once again a lively place to be with entertainment, dining and recreation opportunities. You might catch a juggling act outside under the string lights or spend time at Jellyrolls to hear the dueling piano players. Take a Surrey bike ride with the family for breezy fun around the water. When it’s time to eat, you’ve got options. You can take your pick from grab and go spots like the BoardWalk Deli to delightful sit down dining experiences like Trattoria al Forno. When it comes to the end of the night, everyone looks forward to those colorful sparkles in the sky. So can you see fireworks from Disney BoardWalk? There are definitely firework views from this resort and dining and entertainment complex!

Can You See Fireworks From Disney BoardWalk?

It is possible to see fireworks from a few different places around Disney’s BoardWalk Inn. One of the best viewing spots will be on the bridge closest to Epcot that connects Disney’s BoardWalk to Disney’s Yacht and Beach Club resorts. This bridge provides a fantastic view of the higher pyrotechnics in Epcot’s firework shows. Another great place to watch fireworks from Disney’s BoardWalk is near Jellyrolls and the Atlantic Dance Hall. Facing Epcot, you can watch the nightly fireworks over the water here and it’s quite a visual treat. Unlike Disneyland Resort, which is located near many other public buildings and private residences, nothing really prohibits Walt Disney World Resort fireworks shows from happening. You can count on seeing fireworks every night of your trip if you wish to!

Does Disney’s BoardWalk Resort Have Firework View Rooms?

There are technically no firework view or theme park view rooms at Disney’s BoardWalk Inn and Disney’s BoardWalk Villas. That doesn’t mean you won’t get a surprise firework view. Disney is very fair on what they consider a firework view room. A room won’t be noted as such unless it has an excellent firework view. This means that you can sometimes see fireworks, theme parks and nighttime spectaculars from your room when you weren’t expecting to. As always, whether you can see fireworks from your room or not depends a great deal on where your room is located at the resort and which direction its facing. Having a balcony can also help as it allows you a wider range of vision when you can step outside and peek around. If you happen to be in a room that’s higher up and facing the direction of Epcot, it’s likely you’ll get some kind of firework view. This is especially true if your room is near Jellyrolls. The view of Epcot fireworks pictured here is from the BoardWalk, standing in front of the mint building next to Jellyrolls that says Crest O’ The Wave.

While the best firework views from this resort are of Epcot nighttime spectaculars, you may also see some pyro coming from the other direction. Disney’s Hollywood Studios may not have a dedicated firework show but some of the nighttime spectaculars at the park feature sporadic fireworks. If you happen to see the sky lighting up and it’s not coming from the Epcot direction, it could be the Fantasmic! finale or the end of the projection shows on the theater on Hollywood Boulevard.

Lastly, it may be possible to see fireworks way far away over at Magic Kingdom. You will only see the biggest highest fireworks. If you see a nighttime show happening in the distance over Disney’s Yacht Club, those are Magic Kingdom fireworks.

Disney’s BoardWalk Villas Disney Vacation Club

You don’t have to be a guest to visit Disney’s BoardWalk and enjoy the excellent dining options. Just note that parking at this resort is sometimes reserved for guests and those with dining reservations depending on availability. If you can see yourself enjoying all of this year after year, DVC is something to consider. The Disney timeshare is a flexible point based system that has you choose a home resort and a point value based on your own preferences. Disney’s BoardWalk Inn resort has a lovely Disney Vacation Club property known as Disney’s BoardWalk Villas. This is a great home resort option for those who would love to enjoy boat transport or walking paths to Epcot and Disney’s Hollywood Studios. You may be able to save thousands purchasing a resale Disney Vacation Club contract instead of buying directly from Disney. For Disney Vacation Club rooms at BoardWalk, there are standard view and BoardWalk/preferred view rooms. There is also a wide range of room sizes to choose from. It’s possible to book a Studio, which is similar to a hotel room in some ways, or a one bedroom, two bedroom or three bedroom villa. The home like accommodations in Disney Vacation Club villas can include additional amenities like full kitchens and washer and dryers.
