Proposed DVC annual dues are released late each year, specifically November. Around this time, estimated DVC annual dues are released for the following year but they are not official or finalized. These annual dues won't be official until after the 2023 Annual Meetings of the Board of Directors and the 2023 Annual Meetings of the Members take place on Thursday, December 7, 2023, at Disney’s Contemporary Resort Convention Center.

How much are annual dues for Disney Vacation Club?

To determine how much you will pay in annual dues, multiply the number of points on your contract by the per point annual due fee. The more points you have, the more you’ll pay. If you have contracts at different resorts you’ll pay the annual dues per point rate for each.

Let's do the math on a resort as an example. In 2023, The Villas at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa has annual dues that are $7.33 per point. If an owner has 150 points they will pay $1099.50 in annual dues for that year.

How often do DVC maintenance fees increase?

Most DVC home resorts go up in price a little bit each year. Annual dues are also called maintenance fees because much of the money goes to keeping resorts well maintained. Hotels are painted regularly, rugs are replaced when scheduled or needed and landscaping is always in need of caring for. Upkeep like this might be funded by annual dues. Annual dues also pay for things like taxes, Cast Member benefits and unique offerings at resorts. For example, at Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas, there are animals to care for. As inflation and other factors cause these kinds of expenses to go up, annual dues increase.

When are DVC annual dues due?

DVC annual dues are due on January 15th every year. Disney says, annual dues "are calculated based on the calendar year, not your Use Year." Members can pay all at once or in monthly installments that are direct debits from a U.S. bank account.

Why do some DVC resorts have two different annual dues costs?

There are a few resorts that have more than one amount for annual dues. This is due to different reasons related to issues back around when the resorts opened. If you buy today from Disney Vacation Club directly, you will pay the higher annual dues number on these. It's only possible to pay the lower maintenance fees rate if you already own a contract that has them or if you buy one on the DVC resale market.
