Disney Vacation Club raises per point prices every year or so. The current price per point for Disney Vacation Club at Disney's Polynesian Villas and Bungalows is $225 per point. This is the price for all point values, meaning it's $20,500 if you buy the minimum of 100 points or much more. Note, there are sometimes incentives to consider when buying direct.

Polynesian DVC Resale Price Per Point

The price is usually much better when you buy resale. As of late 2024, the average DVC resale price per point is around $153 at Disney's Polynesian Villas and Bungalows. This price reflects the average per point cost of all of DVC Resale Experts sales at the Polynesian this year. That means per point prices at Disney's Polynesian Villas and Bungalows may be higher or lower depending on how many points you buy.

The Point Value and Points Available on DVC Resale Changes the Price

Unlike direct purchases, the number of points you buy does usually have an affect on the cost of the individual point price. Contracts with more points cost less per point while contracts with less points cost more per point. The number of points available on a contract also changes the price. If the contract is 150 points, that means you get that amount annually. If the points from the year prior weren't used, they are banked and able to be used by the new owner. In contrast, if the seller borrowed points to use from the next year, there will be less points for the new owner to use. What's right for you will depend on if you're wanting more points for immediate use or not. It just depends on how and when you plan to book with your points and if you'd rather pay a little less upfront.

How much are DVC Polynesian annual dues?

Remember another cost associated with DVC is the annual dues. Members will choose if they are financing or buying their contract outright. They'll decide if they are paying annual dues monthly or for the whole year. Annual dues go up a little bit each year. These DVC maintenance fees cover refurbishments and other operating costs. At Disney's Polynesian Villas and Bungalows, the annual dues cost $8.23 per point in 2024. Someone with 100 points would pay about $823 for DVC annual dues.

Is Polynesian DVC resale worth it?

This DVC home resort has a lot going for Members. With a prime location, memorable dining and villas in a wide range of sizes, you can have it all at the Polynesian resort. Resale makes it more affordable and you can book in the new Island Tower with those points.

Is the Island Tower more expensive than the rest of the Polynesian DVC?

The new 2024 Island Tower at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort is a Disney Vacation Club building. Though it's an all new structure, it's part of the same home resort at Disney's Polynesian Villas and Bungalows. Any DVC Member that owns at the Polynesian can book any of the DVC rooms there based on availability.

This is similar to the expansion at The Villas at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa. It's different than Disney's Wilderness Lodge which has both the original Boulder Ridge and the newer Copper Creek at the property.

Remember to ask about DVC incentives

Disney Vacation Club doesn't have traditional sales but there are sales incentives sometimes. If you're choosing to buy direct from Disney, talk to your DVC guide about incentives available at the time. We often see them come or go with the season. Those who are already Members usually pay a different price per point than those who aren't yet owners.
