If you want to be surrounded by Florida nature and charm on your Walt Disney World visit, Old Key West resort is an excellent pick. The pretty pastel buildings and perfect palms set the scene for relaxation. This is also one of the most quiet resorts from my experience. Old Key West is the original Disney Vacation Club resort. There are framed photos of DVC member families and vacation memories adoringly decorating the walls in the entrance of Olivia’s Cafe. Old Key West has a nice layer of convenience when it comes to amenities. Almost all of the dining options are located in one central area near the lobby and pool. Let’s take a look at the Old Key West dining options.
Old Key West Grab and Go, Quick Service and Mobile Order
Good’s Food to Go serves breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks and desserts in typical quick service tastes. There is some outdoor seating in this area. To stock the fridge or pick up drinks and snacks, visit Conch Flats General Store. This merchandise shop is in the same central location near the resort entrance.
Old Key West Lounges
The Gurgling Suitcase is a small bar with great dining options and some outdoor seating. With entrees you can order from the Olivia’s Cafe menu, The Gurgling Suitcase has some of the best pool side eats you’ll find. Many bars and lounges at Disney World offer similar menu items for adult drinks. You can get favorites here like the Magical Star Cocktail that comes illuminated via glowing ice cube.
Old Key West Poolside Dining
At the main pool near the lobby, the options mentioned above are all close by. You can actually access all resort dining options from the main pool except for this next one. Turtle Shack Poolside Snacks is located far from the entrance at the pool on the opposite side of the resort. This spot would also be good for a quick lunch if you’re staying on this back side of the resort. Expect adult beverages along with typical fast American fare and kids meals.
Old Key West Table Service and Signature Dining

Olivia’s Cafe is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner and offers a menu of home style cooking. This is a hidden gem and one the best restaurants at DVC resorts. The Southernmost Buttermilk Chicken here is a fan favorite and something to write home about. It’s probably the best fried chicken around Disney property. Also, there’s a brunch menu on the weekends!

Disney water transportation opens even more possibilities. Guests can travel by boat from Old Key West to Disney Springs where you’ll find nearly any kind of food you can imagine.
