19 Oct Pink and Blue DVC Loungefly, Spirit Jersey and More
Another Disney Vacation Club merchandise collection has made its way to Walt Disney World Resort shop shelves. Disney Loungefly bags have become incredibly popular among park guests. Now there’s another Disney Vacation Club option to shop. This pink and blue DVC Loungefly is part of a whole collection showcasing cute travel phrases and DVC logos. There’s also a matching Spirit Jersey, Minnie ears and a blue and pink DVC logo Dooney and Bourke bag in the same visual style. Let’s go over the details, prices and where to shop it all.
Pink and Blue DVC Loungefly Details
As is common with most Loungefly mini backpacks, this bag is $80. Most Disney Loungefly mini backpacks are around this price but some are a little more depending on how detailed the bag is. This mini backpack is made of a material Disney refers to as “simulated leather.” This incredibly durable bag has adjustable straps. A portion of the strap is made out of the hearty material also used to make car seatbelts. Or, should I say, ride vehicle seatbelts?
Inside, this DVC Loungefly has home resort logos in a fun pattern. On the outside, there are travel inspired sayings around each corner. The front it says A Vacation of Adventure. On the back there’s a little explorer Mickey silhouette and it says Welcome Home Disney Vacation Club Member around him. This Disney Vacation Club Loungefly backpack features some casual logo style visuals that represent different resorts on the front. Two giraffes in a compass outline represent Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge. Finding Paradise Wherever I Go is written in a circle around an Adirondack style chair. This could represent a few different beach-y resorts.
One of the best details of this piece is the zipper pull on the front pocket. The shiny enamel emblem features the Disney Vacation Club logo with the three circle Mickey silhouette and an earth on the inside. The logo label plate on the front says Disney Vacation Club x Loungefly. The measurements for this bag are 11 3/4” H x 8 2/3” W x 3 1/2” D.
Disney Vacation Club Pink Logo Ears
The matching Disney Vacation Club ears for this collection were $29.99 when released. Since then, prices for Minnie ears have gone up by $5.00 to $34.99. These ears feature fun resort logos but also the Disney Vacation Club enamel Mickey earth logo on the bow.
Salmon Pink and Blue DVC Spirit Jersey
At the time the collection first released, the Spirit Jersey that goes with this collection was $79.99. This thick, oversize style shirt is a similar pink salmon kind of color. On the front there is the adventurer Mickey in a small design that says A Vacation of Adventure.
DVC Logo Tervis
The Tervis tumbler that goes with everything here is $29.99. Tervis is a reliable and trusted brand that produces many Disney drink ware items. Along with the logos, an adventurous Mickey Mouse sits among the design.
Disney Vacation Club Dooney & Bourke Drawstring Bag
The coordinating Dooney and Bourke bag that’s part of this collection debuted at the price of $298. The allover, repeated print features Disney Vacation Club logo visual screen art on coated cotton. The trim is a stitched cowhide leather finishing with pink edging. The top has a drawstring closure. There is one interior zip pocket, two interior slip pockets, an interior cell phone pocket and a key hook. It’s fully lined inside like most Disney Dooneys. This DVC Dooney and Bourke bag also comes with a detachable shoulder strap. It has gold tone finish hardware, metal feet and a Dooney & Bourke embossed metal label on the front. The Dooney & Bourke Since 1975 embossed leather label is on the inside. Remember each of these is unique with varying pattern placements. This bag measures 10” H x 10” W x 7” D.
Disney Vacation Club Dooney & Bourke Wristlet Wallet
A matching Disney Vacation Club Dooney and Bourke wallet is available as well. Like the drawstring bag, the wristlet wallet is on the pricier side. The DVC Dooney wallet is $168. We can assume it has the same material make up as the other products from this brand in the collection.
Shopping Pink and Blue DVC Loungefly and Dooney and Bourke Collection
The extra exciting news is that some of the pieces are available on shopDisney. If you also love cute Disney things, you may get the same little rush I do when you see the green new next to an item on the site. Ooh! Something new! It’s also very helpful to be able to shop certain items online when they are sold out at the parks. The Dooney and Bourke bags that have repeating prints may not be an ideal online purchase. Most people like to pick the placement for their print and make sure their favorite visuals line up nicely on the shape of the bag.
However, the pink and blue DVC Loungefly has the same print and placement on each bag. There’s nothing special to pick out with these so ordering one on shopDisney would present the exact same option as if you purchased in store and just what is pictured online.
Where to Buy DVC Loungefly Backpacks
This pink and blue DVC Loungefly has been spotted at quite a few Disney Vacation Club Resort shops.
Bay Lake Tower at Disney’s Contemporary Resort doesn’t have its own store in the building. Instead, amenities are shared with the main Contemporary building where the monorail goes through. On the fourth floor, Disney Vacation Club owners may find pieces of this collection or other DVC merchandise at Fantasia Market. This sundries shop is located near the corner of the building closest to Magic Kingdom. This collection was also specifically spotted at Wilderness Lodge Mercantile in the lobby of Disney’s Wilderness Lodge Resort.
Eligible Disney Vacation Club Members can use their discount to shop online by signing into their Disney account before purchasing on shopDisney.com. All of your discounts are connected once you’ve synced your Membership or Annual Pass. The discount will apply at check when applicable.
Remember these things can sell out at any time. If you see one you want, don’t hesitate. It’s better to purchase it and keep your receipt than to miss out on buying it altogether. If you see something else you prefer or just decide it’s not for you, you can return the unused item with tags attached at most Walt Disney World retail locations with your receipt.
What fits inside a DVC Loungefly Mini Backpack?
Loungefly mini backpacks fit all of the essentials and have convenient pockets. The zippers open smoothly which is a major highlight. In the main section there are two zippers for easy access and storing wider items. I fit a smaller Canon camera in mine with lots of other small items. A light poncho could be packed in one. The side pockets are perfect for iPhones or other phones similar in size. It fits snug enough that it stays but just loose enough to get it in and out easily. Having your phone in reach is super handy around the parks. You never know when you’ll see something photo worthy.
There’s also a front pocket perfect for a small wallet, an Annual Pass or anything else you may want to grab quickly. I can fit a few Canon camera batteries, a small hand sanitizer, an Annual Pass and some alcohol wipes in the front pocket comfortably.
An Introduction to Disney and Loungefly
If you are just finding out about Disney Loungefly backpacks and bags, here’s a little introduction and some pro tips for shopping the brand. Loungefly has been making officially licensed Disney merchandise for many years now. At least a decade if not longer. It seems the co branded products really took off with the introduction of sequin covered mini backpacks with ears and bows on them. The Disney Loungefly mini backpack with the rose gold sequins introduced in 2018 is still found in stores all these years later.
Disney Loungefly mini backpacks have a story similar to Minnie ear headbands. These items became a hit among guests. As time went on more and more were introduced and offered in shops. There was a time when you could keep up with each new one that came out. Then there was a deluge of new designs inspired by characters, attractions, seasons, movies and more.
The DVC Loungefly bags have become popular too with more coming out regularly. It seems impossible to keep up with all of the new Disney Loungefly bags that come out now. There are exclusives sold at different stores and unique designs popping up everywhere. You can expect at least one or two collections that include a DVC Loungefly each year. While some bags are DVC focused and co branded between Disney Vacation Club and Loungefly, others are resort specific. The resort mini back packs usually are co branded on the front with Loungefly and Disney Parks. So far we’ve seen a Grand Floridian Loungefly and Riviera Resort Loungefly. Check your home resort’s gift shop for this pink and blue DVC Loungefly, the resort specific Loungefly or the newest release at the time.
