As DVC adds resorts and the number of Members grows, it makes sense for more DVC lounges to open to meet demand. So how many Disney Vacation Club lounges are there? What is there to do at a DVC lounge? When are DVC lounges open? Can DVC resale visit Disney Vacation Club lounges?
DVC Member Lounge Locations
There are currently three Disney Vacation Club lounges with a fourth on the way. It seems DVC Member lounges can be anywhere around Disney destinations including inside parks or at resort hotels.

When did the EPCOT Disney Vacation Club lounge open?
Disney Vacation Club opened the EPCOT DVC lounge in June of 2016 to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Disney Vacation Club.
How to get into the EPCOT DVC lounge
The DVC lounge at Epcot is in the Imagination! Pavilion. More specifically, it’s on the second floor of the ImageWorks merchandise shop at the exit of the Figment attraction. To get into the DVC lounge, you’ll look for the ImageWorks door in between the Figment ride and the theater that currently plays Pixar short films. Once inside, just past some merchandise on the right, you’ll see the entrance of a grand circular staircase that takes you up to the lounge. There is a podium here where you will check in with a Disney Vacation Club cast member.
There may be a wait to enter the DVC lounge at Epcot. It does fill up. In this case you’ll give your information and be contacted when it’s your turn to enter. Members must show their digital Membership Card and photo identification.
How many people can you bring to the DVC Epcot lounge?
DVC says, “Party size is limited to the Member and up to 5 guests per Membership Card.” So you can have six people in your party total including yourself.
What are the EPCOT DVC lounge hours?
The Epcot Disney Vacation Club lounge is open year round from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. You will want to plan to stop by during the day. There are no firework viewing opportunities from the Epcot Disney Vacation Club lounge.
When did the Top of the World lounge open?
Top of the World Lounge opened when Bay Lake Tower at Disney’s Contemporary Resort opened in 2009. There was another Top of the World venue in the past but it was on top of the main Contemporary building. It’s now known as California Grill. After reopening in 2022, the DVC Member lounge is Top of the World Lounge – A Villains Lair. It now has some subtle hints to Disney villains.
How to get into the Top of the World lounge
To enter Top of the World lounge, visit the main lobby of Bay Lake Tower. There should be a cast member at a desk that will direct you to the correct elevator. It’s in the North elevator corridor. You may need to show identification and your digital DVC Membership card. A designated elevator will then take you and your guests up to the 16th floor where the lounge is. Not all elevators go to this venue. Assistance from a cast member is necessary.
How many people can you bring to Top of the World lounge?
DVC says your party at Top of the World lounge, “can include eligible Members and Guests staying on that Member’s reservation.” This means the amount of people you can bring with you to Top of the World lounge varies based on who is staying in your room with you. If you have one of the bigger DVC rooms booked for your party, you’ll be able to bring more people.
What are the Top of the World lounge hours?
The Top of the World lounge is open from 6:00 p.m. to midnight daily.
When did the Disneyland Disney Vacation Club lounge open?
The Disneyland Disney Vacation Club lounge in Tomorrowland, called Star View Station, opened in April of 2023. This addition is seen as a way to bring more DVC offerings to Disneyland resort around the opening of the Disneyland Hotel DVC tower.
How to get into the Disneyland DVC lounge
In Tomorrowland at Disneyland Park, you’ll see a small sign for the lounge and cast member outside of the round Star Wars Launch Bay building in between Space Mountain and Autopia. That cast member will direct you inside the building to check into the second floor Star View Station venue.

New Disney Vacation Club Member Lounge at Walt Disney World
On January 2nd, 2024 the Disney Parks Blog casually mentioned a new DVC lounge is coming to Walt Disney World Resort this year. As of the January announcement construction had not yet started. The only information shared was, “This will be a great place for members to relax and recharge during their day of fun!” We don’t yet know the park, land or resort where the newest Disney Vacation Club Member Lounge will debut. Check back here because we will have all of the latest information as Disney shares it.
New Gateway to Discovery – A Disney Vacation Club Welcome Home Center, Disney Springs DVC Lounge
On March 2nd, 2024 Disney Vacation Club and Disney Springs shared on Instagram that yet another DVC lounge is coming to Disney World. The Gateway to Discovery – A Disney Vacation Club Welcome Home Center is in the heart of Disney Springs. You’ll find it next to Francesca’s in the former Alex and Ani location in the Town Center neighborhood. Gateway to Discovery is described by Disney as an “interactive portal to discover new vacation destinations with Disney Vacation Club.” However, on the second floor, there is a space for Members and their guests. The downstairs discovery venue is open now but the Member lounge opens later this spring. We will share more information as Disney releases it.
Who can go to DVC lounges? Do resale Members have access to DVC lounges?
Disney Vacation Club Members who have access to Membership Extras can visit DVC lounges. This means you must have purchased an amount of points from Disney directly. Those who purchase only resale points can not visit the Disney Vacation Club lounges. In 2024, new Members must purchase 150 points from Disney directly to be eligible for these kinds of special perks.
Resale Members used to be able to visit Top of the World Lounge. That changed when it reopened in 2022. Whether it’s worth it or not to buy DVC direct just for access to the lounges is a subject for another day. The amount you can save buying resale can take you to some other pretty great lounges and restaurants around Walt Disney World Resort or Disneyland Resort.
Are DVC Lounges permanent? Is the EPCOT DVC lounge closing?
Disney Vacation Club says this about these kinds of perks: “Membership Extras—such as exchange options in the Disney Collection and options offered through hotel exchange, certain discounts, offers and special events—are incidental benefits. These incidental benefits are subject to change or termination without notice, may require the payment of a fee and cannot be combined with any other offers or promotions.” The real value of DVC is the deluxe resort hotel stays at a fantastic rate. There is no announced closing date for the EPCOT DVC lounge but, based on Disney’s wording, it was not meant to be a permanent offering.
