Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge is a resort located near Disney’s Animal Kingdom theme park. It has a similar animal focused theme but the story of the resort relies on African culture, art and decor. It’s one of the bigger Disney resorts and has an assortment of unique amenities. That means an Animal Kingdom Lodge resort map will come in handy. You’ll also see on the Disney’s Animal Kingdom resort map that it’s one of the bigger hotel properties at Disney world. Because of this there is also a special resort bus shuttle that will take you between the main Jambo House lobby and the Kidani Village building. It runs about every ten minutes. This makes dining at any of the resort’s venues more convenient.

Kidani Village is beautifully adorned with African proverbs written in gold on the walls. The Animal Kingdom Kidani Village map shows where the savannas are and different view points from areas in this part of the resort. 

You’ll also see on the Kidani Village map that it has its own theme park bus transportation stop which is helpful. You don’t have to travel to Jambo House to catch a bus to Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Hollywood Studios, Animal Kingdom or Disney Springs.

The Cost of DVC Resale at Animal Kingdom: How Much Can You Save?

In 2025, you can compare prices at $215 per point direct and around $100 per point resale. Many vacationers buy around 150 to 200 points for an annual, weeklong stay in studio accommodations. That’s a savings of around $17,250 to $23,000 with resale in that range of points depending on the contract.

For comparison to renting a room at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge, let’s take a look at prices in 2025 for a weeklong vacation in the summer. From July 21 through July 28, 2025, a stay in a resort view room comes out to $4,015.16. That's the total cost for the room alone for one stay. With DVC at Animal Kingdom Villas, the contract lasts until 2057. That means decades of vacations as a Member. The amount you pay for a week stay could cover a decent portion of a contract instead. For reference, around the same time, a 160 point Animal Kingdom Villas contract was listed for $15,840. Just add in annual dues of $9.65 per point in 2025 and you're on your way to many years of fun and adventure at a better rate.
