Riviera DVC Price Per Point

Disney Vacation Club seems to raise prices every year or so. The current price per point for Disney Vacation Club at Disney's Riviera Resort is $235 per point. That's how much it costs if you purchase from Disney directly. This is the price for all point values, meaning it's $235 if you buy the minimum of 100 points or more. There are sometimes incentives based on how much you buy. More on that below.

Disney's Riviera Resort DVC Resale Price Per Point

It's possible to pay less for resale DVC compared to buying from Disney. As of early 2025, the average DVC resale price per point is around $110 at Disney's Riviera Resort. This price reflects the average per point cost of all of DVC Resale Experts sales at Riviera so far this year. That means per point prices at Riviera Resort may be higher or lower depending on how many points you buy. Unlike direct purchases, the number of points you buy does usually have an affect on the cost of the individual point price. Contracts with more points cost less per point while contracts with less points cost more per point.

What is the DVC Riviera Price Per Point?

You can buy directly from Disney Vacation Club or buy resale from a Member who is selling their contract. The direction you choose plays a big role in how much you pay and can save.

Did you know the number of points available changes the price?

The number of points available on a contract also changes the price. If the contract is 150 points, that means you get that amount annually. If the points from the year prior weren't used and are banked, they are able to be used by the new owner. In contrast, if the seller borrowed points to use from the next year, there will be less points for the new owner to use. What's right for you will depend on if you're wanting more points for immediate use or not. It just depends on how and when you plan to book with your points and if you'd rather pay a little less upfront.

Cost of Riviera DVC: Consider Annual Dues

The DVC maintenance fees are another Disney timeshare cost to consider. The 2025 annual dues at Disney's Riviera Resort are $9.06 per point. That comes out to $75.50 for 100 points if billed monthly.

Is Riviera DVC resale worth it?

Disney's Riviera Resort operates under different rules. Those who purchase resale at Riviera can only use their points at this home resort. Also good to know, if you purchase resale anywhere else, you can't use your points at Riviera. It was the first DVC resort with such resale restrictions. However, if this is where you love to stay, it's a great value.

Resale owners aren't eligible for perks like special events. If you're ok with not being able to use your points for stays at other resorts and skipping DVC events and lounges, you can have the same great DVC resort stays for much less thanks to resale.

Plus, there are excellent amenities, like character dining, and you can see fireworks from Riviera resort.
