Disney is the home of the most iconic animated film characters. Sometimes, it takes a while for them to head from the screen to the theme parks. Over the years, Disney World has had many resort wide overlays celebrating recent hit films. We’ve seen Encanto become wildly popular over the last few years. That might leave those visiting with questions about the presence of the film in the parks. Is there Encanto stuff at Disney World? Can you meet Encanto at Disney? What is the Encanto Epcot show? Is Bruno at Disney World? Can you meet Mirabel at Disney? Where do you meet Mirabel at Disney? As of 2024, guests can find Encanto at Disney World in a few different places, though not as much as we’ve seen with other hit films.
Is Encanto at Disney World?
Many want to know what there is to see of Encanto at Disney World in 2024. As of now there is not a ride that celebrates the story of the Madrigal family. That may be something we can see in the future according to Disney. There are some characters you can meet and see, a sing-along show, and, of course, merchandise.
Encanto Epcot Show
This summer from June 10th to September 6th, a new Encanto show runs at Epcot. “¡Celebración Encanto!” is a sing-along style show but features characters Mirabel and Bruno from the animated film. This is on the CommuniCore Plaza stage, a new venue opening this summer.
Where to meet Mirabel at Magic Kingdom?
Mirabel is now meeting guests in an outdoor meet and greet location called Fairytale Garden. This space is completely outdoors, including the queue, but it does have a themed area where she takes photos. Mirabel meets her guests in a space themed to the courtyard outside of Casa Madrigal.
This meet and greet was introduced in September 2023 for Hispanic and Latin American Heritage Month. The Mirabel meet and greet at Magic Kingdom is a permanent, year round offering. It replaces the Merida meet and greet that was in this space before it.
Mirabel meeting times: When can you meet Mirabel at Disney World?
The treasured Encanto character meets guests every day of the week at Magic Kingdom in Walt Disney World Resort. She first appears in the morning, taking breaks throughout the day and finishes up in the early evening. The location where Mirabel meets is typically not open when its dark.
For accurate times to meet Mirabel, check the My Disney Experience app on your visit. Wait times are also posted on a sign next to the meet and greet. An example of what Mirabel meet and greet times look like on Saturday September 23rd, shortly after the experience debuted:

Can you meet Bruno at Disney World? Where to see Bruno at Disney
You know how the song goes but here we are, talking about Bruno anyway. Currently, there is no meet and greet for Bruno at Disney in Orlando, Florida. You can see Bruno in a cavalcade at Magic Kingdom though. This is a type of entertainment drive by that took over for other entertainment during the pandemic to discourage people from forming crowds. A cavalcade is like one float of a parade with lots of characters on or around it.
The Disney Adventure Friends Cavalcade takes the regular parade route starting in Frontierland and working its way toward the front of the park down Main Street, U.S.A. You can see Bruno and other characters like Miguel from Coco, Princess Elena of Avalor and José Carioca in this cavalcade every day. Times for this change often so check the My Disney Experience app on the day of your visit for up to date time information.
Rainy Day Cavalcade at Magic Kingdom
If it rains and a parade or regular cavalcade is not possible, the characters sometimes make a special appearance in what is called the Rainy Day Cavalcade at Magic Kingdom. This is a sort of waterproof version of a cavalcade where the characters drive by in a covered vehicle. We saw Mirabel in the Rainy Day Cavalcade before she started meeting guests in the park every day when there was a hurricane at Disney World. You might catch Bruno in this splish-splashy version.
Is there an Encanto character meal?
There is not a specific Encanto themed character meal at Disney World but Mirabel is at 1900 Park Fare. This restaurant at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa has been closed since 2020. It opens April 10th, 2024 with a collection of characters themed to a wish. That includes Aladdin, Cinderella, Mirabel and Princess Tiana at both breakfast and dinner.
Is there a Disney Encanto hotel?
Disney resort hotels continue to have characters included into their remodels after refurbishment. The rooms at Disney’s Contemporary Resort now feature inspiration from The Incredibles. Over at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort some rooms feature Coco characters. Is there a Disney Encanto hotel theme happening anywhere? There are no Disney Encanto hotel tie ins yet. This doesn’t mean there won’t be in the future.
Is there an Encanto ride at Disney? Is the Madrigal house at Disney World?
Family friendly dark rides are some of the most popular at Disney’s many parks. Fantasyland is filled with these gentle yet magical experiences that the whole travel party can enjoy together. Soar through Neverland with Peter Pan or venture under the sea with Ariel. The colorful world of the Madrigals is beloved by fans. So is there an Encanto ride at Disney? There is no Encanto ride at Disney as of now. The 2021 film has yet to be made into a ride at any Disney Park around the world. However, there have been two different occasions where Disney has mentioned incorporating Encanto permanently into a land at one of the parks.
Can you visit the Madrigal house at Magic Kingdom?
We got some interesting announcements at the 2022 D23 Expo official fan event. This is a regular time for fans to find out what’s coming to Disney World and other parks. In 2022, leadership at Disney started to talk about what might be behind Big Thunder Mountain Railroad at Magic Kingdom. The possibilities included a brand new land in the park that included Encanto.
To everyone’s surprise, only a year later, these plans still seem to be going forward but without the Madrigals. They have other plans. Just a year later, other announcements were made that included the Madrigal house at Disney.
Is the Madrigal house at Animal Kingdom?
At Destination D23 in Orlando, Florida in 2023, a completely different vision was shared for Encanto at Disney World. This time, the Madrigal house is seen in a rendering at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. This is not just a different land but a completely different theme park. The idea is that Dinoland U.S.A. will be transformed into a brand new land themed to the tropical Americas. This region to Disney seems to refer to countries in South America but use inspiration from Disney and other films.
The Madrigal house is in Animal Kingdom in the rendering at the top of this post. However, we have no idea if it’s an attraction, a meet and greet, a show, a restaurant or a facade of some kind. We do know that the Dinosaur attraction in the same land would be themed to Indiana Jones in this potential re-theme.
No additional, clarifying announcements have been made. It seems Disney is planning to build Imagineering space back stage at Animal Kingdom, though, due to permits filed in early 2024. It’s likely we will hear more about this Encanto addition at D23’s next big convention in August.
Encanto Makeovers at Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique
Your little one can enjoy an Encanto makeover and dress up like Mirabel or Isabela. The Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique is located inside the ground floor of Cinderella Castle inside Magic Kingdom. You must have a park ticket in order to gain entry for a Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique experience. These makeovers are popular. Book a reservation in advance for a guaranteed spot.
The Disney Encanto Package starts at $179.95 plus tax. This experience includes hairstyling, shimmering makeup with face gem, Princess sash and cinch bag, nail polish and Mirabel or Isabela gown and coordinating accessories. Shoes are available for purchase.
Makeovers are for guests between 3 and 12 years of age and must be accompanied by an adult. Up to two guests can join to see the transformation.
More Encanto at Disney
There are some other cute and subtle visuals from Encanto at Disney. For Hispanic and Latin American Heritage Month at Walt Disney World Resort, small but permanent additions found their way around the entire resort. Disney has transformed busses over the last few years to include character art. The characters of Encanto have also been incorporated into several Epcot festivals.
Encanto at Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival
For the 2023 Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival, Encanto characters were made into floral art. At the entrance of the park, Mirabel, Isabela, Louisa and Antonio greeted guests in topiary form. These plant and succulent sculptures were only there for the festival.
In 2024, the Madrigal family of topiaries is back. This year you can find them further into the park at the entrance of World Showcase. Disney character topiaries are usually used for years. We can probably expect to see the Encanto family topiaries at the flower and garden festival for a while.
