In April of 2025, Disney chose to use ROFR to buy back about 6% of DVC Resale Expert sales.

Out of the 78 ROFR responses received, 73 contracts passed and 5 were bought back by DVC.

The Villas at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel had 1 buyback at a high of $225 per point in April. This is regularly a hard contract to find on the resale market and the buybacks have been sweeping.

At The Villas at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa, there was 1 buyback with a high of $163 in April of 2025. If this is your dream resort, you should definitely talk numbers with your Expert! Nearly all of the Grand Floridian contracts have gone to ROFR recently.
