The joy of the holiday season reaches new heights when you're at Disney World. Each year, Disney's Hollywood Studios puts up a stunning, classic display of Christmas decorations around the park. It's especially glitzy on Hollywood Boulevard and Sunset Boulevard where the windows are dressed in their seasonal best. In 2023, Disney introduced a brand new event for the holidays at this park. Disney Jollywood Nights joins the long running, popular Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party event at Walt Disney World Resort. What is there to do at Jollywood Nights? Here's a quick overview of what takes place at the event.

How long is Disney Jollywood Nights?
Jollywood Nights is five hours long. These events have fewer people than a regular day at the park but there is also a lot to choose from. You can't do it all. It makes sense to get an idea for what there is to do at this event before you go and prioritize what is most important to you in your plan for the night.
What time is Jollywood Nights?
The hours of the Jollywood Nights events are 7:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m.
What time can you enter the park for Jollywood Nights?
Your ticket to Jollywood Nights gets you into Hollywood Studios at 6:00 p.m. That's before the event's official start time. This means your total potential time in Disney's Hollywood Studios could be six hours and thirty minutes if you got there as early as possible and stayed until the end of the event.
Does Jollywood Nights have a special parade?
No, Jollywood Nights does not have a parade. There are lots of characters to meet though. Many appear in the park during the day but some are special just for the event.
Brown Derby, Tower of Terror Holiday Lounges & Latin, Pixar Dance Parties
While special event food can be found throughout the park, two themed lounges are open at this event only.
- Hollywood Brown Derby has Jazzy Holidays. There is a live piano player and a special, seasonal menu. Reservations should be made in advance. You must have a ticket to the event to dine here for this.
- Tower of Terror has the Twilight Soirée at The Tip Top Club. This is a ground level, outdoor event space near the attraction. Disney says this is retro inspired and transports you back to the golden age of Hollywood with swanky music and vintage cocktails.
- In the Animation Courtyard, Holiday Fiesta en la Calle has Latin street fair energy with dancing.
- At Pixar Plaza there's a Pixar themed dance party with Joy, Frozone, Edna Mode and other Pixar characters.
What characters are at Jollywood Nights?
Disney always says entertainment is subject to change. It's still good to know what entertainment you might be able to expect while staying flexible on the off chance it doesn't go as planned.

Are there special fireworks at Jollywood Nights?
No, Jollywood Nights does not have special event fireworks. There is a nighttime spectacular called Jingle Bell! Jingle Bam! that happens at 10:00 p.m. each event night. This projection show has some lasers and pyrotechnics. It's mostly a projection show in the middle of the park on the front of the Chinese Theater and on surrounding structures.
Does Jollywood Nights have special shows?
Yes, the biggest draw of the Jollywood Nights event at Hollywood Studios is the unique shows you can only see at the event.
- A show featuring Kermit, Miss Piggy, Belle and Tiana is in the same theater as the Beauty and the Beast show is during the day. Beauty and the Beast Live on Stage is not offered at this event.
- Fans of Tim Burton's classic film The Nightmare Before Christmas have something special to enjoy. There is a singalong style show with added extras. This is in the For the First Time in Forever: A Frozen Singalong Celebration theater during the day. The Frozen singalong is not a part of this event.
- New as of 2024, an ice skating show called Glisten! takes place in the center of the park in front of the Chinese theater. International champion skaters perform routines in glitzy costumes to a holiday soundtrack with original, seasonal and Disney songs. The Chinese Theater will light up along with the show. Ice skating for guests is not available at this event.
Muppets Christmas Carol at Disney World
There usually isn't anything The Muppets Christmas Carol related during the holidays at Disney World except for merchandise. There is a little something at Jollywood Nights. A photo op themed to the popular film is in the Muppet area of the park. The Disney Parks Blog says you can go "behind the scenes of 'The Muppets Christmas Carol' set for your movie star moment inside the Stage 1 Company Store." This is the store in between Muppet Vision 3D and PizzeRizzo. The Stage 1 Company Store is the only Muppets store at Walt Disney World Resort. It has been closed since covid closed the parks. Stage 1 Company Store only opens for special events like the 35th anniversary of Disney's Hollywood Studios and Jollywood Nights.
Are there complimentary treats at Jollywood Nights?
No complimentary treats or treat stations are at this event. If you've been to Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party at Magic Kingdom you may be used to free cookies and cocoa around every corner. Jollywood Nights has exclusive food and beverage offerings but not complimentary treats. Instead, the focus is on turning spaces in the park into festive venues with live music, themed drinks and menu items fit for the season.
You do get an edible gift for attending. On your way out, each guest is given "six champagne flavored Wondermade marshmallows in a Kermit the Frog and Miss Piggy themed box." This was a new addition in 2024.

Will Jollywood Nights sell out?
It is likely that the Disney Jollywood Nights event will sell out. The special holiday events have become more popular since they were reintroduced after the pandemic. Both this and Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party sold out in 2023 and 2024.
When do tickets go on sale for Jollywood Nights?
In 2024, Jollywood Nights tickets became available for guests of Disney World resorts on July 2nd and available to the general public on July 10th.
Can you resell Jollywood Nights tickets?
Tickets to seasonal Disney events can sell out early and be hard to get. It's a disappointment when you go to buy tickets and there aren't any available. You might be wondering if you can buy resale Jollywood Nights tickets. Can you resell Jollywood Nights tickets?
Disney says tickets are nonrefundable and nontransferable. Tickets to Jollywood Nights may not be resold.
Does the park close early for this event?
Hollywood Studios closes at different times throughout the year. It's fairly regular for it to close at 9:00 p.m. though. When you compare it to this then, yes, Hollywood Studios does close early for Jollywood Nights.
Can you see Fantasmic at this event?
You may be able to see Fantasmic on a Jollywood Nights event night because you can enter the park as early as 6:00 p.m.
