Just down the highway from Walt Disney World Resort, Universal Orlando has a new park with lots of characters to meet and a few big shows to see. The beautiful fountains that create a centerpiece throughout the Celestial Park area move to music throughout the day. At night, you can see the big, impressive fountain show with music and lights. What other entertainment is there at Epic Universe? With such fun properties like Nintendo and Harry Potter, what characters are there to meet at Epic Universe? Here's a long list of entertainment you can expect to see at Universal Orlando Resort's newest theme park.

Epic Universe Entertainment Offerings

Each of the Epic Universe worlds has entertainment.

Isle of Berk from How to Train Your Dragon Characters and Entertainment

One of the top entertainment offerings in the park is the How to Train Your Dragon show.

• The Untrainable Dragon - This indoor show is a big stage production with impressive special effects. It has a heart warming story with favorite characters from the movies, accompanied by high energy songs. This show runs throughout the day, about once an hour, and is around twenty minutes in length. Check the app for showtimes on the day of your visit because the last show may be quite a while before the park closes.

You can also meet a variety of vikings and dragons from the animated film series.

• Toothless and Hiccup (or another viking)- This is an outdoor meet and greet with a queue. You can see Toothless and just wave if you walk by. There is often a 45-60 minute wait to meet this famous black dragon. He is very animated and moves his face, wiggles his nose and more. You and your little one can gently touch his face under the direction of a supervising viking. Hiccup is often with Toothless at this meet and greet but sometimes there is a different viking instead.
• Astrid and Stormfly - This pair has been spotted a few different places. They may be in the same meet and greet spot behind the queue with Toothless and Hiccup. You may also spot Astrid and Stormfly walking around. Sometimes Astrid wanders and meets visitors by herself.
• Night Lights - These are the baby dragons of Toothless. You may spot them throughout the day, one at a time, next to Spit Fyre Grill in front of the wooden fence wall.
• Gobber in his workshop - You can spot and interact with Gobber in his outdoor workshop next to a sleeping gronkle dragon. Ask him about his interchangeable arm attachments! He is behind a counter but will pose for photos if you get close.
• Ruffnut and Tuffnut - These twins from the Isle of Berk walk around and interact with visitors and take photos. You may spot them around Gobber's workshop.
• More vikings - Other friendly vikings may be out and about to visit within the Isle of Berk.

If the Epic Universe height requirements leave your little one out of a lot of rides, you'll be pleased with how many characters there are to meet!

Wizarding World at Epic Universe Characters and Entertainment

Place Cachee, the wizarding area of Paris, has some charming entertainment including a circus style stage show like what you see in the second Fantastic Beasts film.

• Le Cirque Arcanus - This is an indoor stage show featuring some notable fantastic beasts and special effects. Note that you may need to dedicate a decent amount of time waiting for and seeing this show.

Explore the streets of Paris where you might meet different wizarding world residents.

• Cosme Acajor - Inside the wand shop, Cosme Acajor Baguettes Magique, you may find Cosme herself. She'll tell you about her wand designs and how her philosophy differs from Ollivander's.
• Aurors - These characters wear stylized street clothes and interact with you, telling you about the land and their mission.
• Students - You may see a trio of students including a resident Beauxbaton in a flowy blue dress and a Hogwarts exchange student.
• Interactive talking paintings - Just like the movies, you may be able to talk to a painting! Keep an eye out for a chatty piece of art when doing spells near Le Gobelet Noir.
• Live musicians - Step right up and enjoy the sounds of Paris musicians playing live outdoors near Le Cirque Arcanus.

Dark Universe Characters

Monsters await! Here's who you can meet in the monsters portal at Epic Universe.

• Frankenstein's Monster and the Bride of Frankenstein - This meet and greet is concealed in an indoor, outdoor hallway.
• Ygor - You might spot this creepy character lurking around the land, parts in hand.
• The Invisible Man - Yes, you can see him and he wanders Darkmoor visiting with guests.

Other Entertainment in Darkmoor

• Monster hunters - they are known to hang out in The Burning Blade Tavern and tell their stories.
• Violinist - A roaming violinist plays. You may also see them telling stories.

Super Nintendo World Characters

Meet your friends from the world of Super Nintendo in this colorful land.

• Princess Peach - This is an outdoor meet and greet under a themed gazebo next to the princess's castle. If you enter the land through the castle look to your right and you'll see it.
• Mario and Luigi - These brothers meet visitors in the middle of Super Mario Land on the ground floor.
• Toad - Possibly the cutest of the Super Nintendo World characters, Toad meets near the same spot as Mario and Luigi.
• Donkey Kong - In the separate Donkey Kong area of the world, you can meet this guy off to the right when you enter.
