A balloon attraction floats over a lake during sunset, showcasing the kind of view you might have for drinks on the water at Disney World if you dine at Disney Springs.

Walt Disney World Resort has hundreds of restaurants to choose from on your trip. There is everything from character shaped treats in the parks to high end signature dining experiences at the resorts. Sometimes you just want to enjoy a nice view while dining or going out for drinks. With the setting of Florida’s beautiful landscape, many Disney World restaurants have water views or are located right on lakes or ponds. I can just feel the breeze coming off of the water already. Enjoy this list of restaurants, bars and lounges where you can have drinks on the water or with a fantastic view of it.

A Guide to Drinks on the Water at Disney World

Geyser Point Bar & Grill at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge

For an unforgettable on the water experience, spend some time at Geyser Point Bar and Grill at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge. This outdoor, covered setting is nestled up to Bay Lake. This is a very large body of water surrounded by trees. A wonderful breeze often comes in off the water. If you’re staying at this resort, I wouldn’t be surprised if you end up here more than once.

Not only can you have drinks on the water at Disney World here but it’s a great place to watch fireworks from Wilderness Lodge. Geyser Point is also right next to the firework viewing at the resort. You can watch the Magic Kingdom fireworks from Wilderness Lodge right on the water next to Geyser Point Bar & Grill.

Narcoossee’s at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa

A restaurant that provides a finer dining feel is Narcoossee’s at Disney’s grand Floridian Resort and Spa. Narcoossee’s is an indoor restaurant but it has windows all around that provide stunning views of the Seven Seas lagoon. This is the body of water you cruise around by monorail or ferry to get to Magic Kingdom. This means the restaurant has nice fireworks views as well. While, you won’t feel the breeze at dinner, there is an outdoor firework viewing area at Narcoossee’s. Choose from specialty cocktails like the Salted Marscapone Espresso Martini, Yuzu-Black Peppercorn Gin and Tonic and a Key Lime Pie Martini.

Does Narcoossee’s have a bar?

Narcoossee’s at the Grand Floridian does have a bar. Even though this is an upscale, signature dining restaurant there is a small bar you can sit at on a first come, first serve basis. You are able to enjoy drinks and order from the main restaurant menu at the Narcoossee’s bar.

At the same resort but on a casual note, Gasparilla Island Grill is a quick service restaurant with amazing views. The outdoor seating at Gasparilla Island Grill sits right on the marina, looks toward Cinderella Castle and has the best firework views at night. This is the best place to watch fireworks from the Grand Floridian. Gasparilla is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. In the cooler you’ll find Cutwater Bloody Mary, Truly Wild Berry Hard Seltzer and assorted beers and ciders.

Three Bridges Bar and Grill at Villa del Lago at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort

A place to get dinner and drinks on the water at Disney World that can’t be missed is at the moderate Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort. Three Bridges Bar and Grill at Villa Del Lago is the ultimate option for that on the water feel. It’s located on the lake in the middle of the resort. This restaurant is cleverly named Three Bridges because it’s only accessible by three different bridges and totally surrounded by water.

Three Bridges Bar and Grill is technically outdoors, but fully covered and beautifully decorated with whimsical lighting fixtures throughout. There are a few different seating styles here including bar, lounge, and dining table seating.

The menu here is a delight with fun appetizers like corn dip. The house-made sangrias are a draw at Three Bridges Bar and Grill. Choose from Sparkling, White, Rosé, Red, Seasonal and in a glass or pitcher. There’s also a sangria flight.

Outdoors at Disney’s BoardWalk

Disney’s BoardWalk, attached to the resort of the same name, has plenty of outdoor offerings. Most of the restaurants here don’t play up their waterside location. However, there are outdoor kiosks and grab and go options with lots of seating on next to the water. You can take a boat here from Epcot and Hollywood Studios.

Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar at Disney Springs

This Indiana Jones adjacent bar sits right on the water at Disney Springs. There is an indoor area as well but the outdoor section is on what looks like a boat. When it comes to drinks on the water at Disney World, Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar might be the very best venue. It’s outdoors and located over the water but also has a detailed explorer style theme. The drinks are themed as well with items like the Fountain of Youth drink on the menu.

The Boathouse at Disney Springs

For drinks on the water, one of the first places that comes to mind is The Boathouse at Disney Springs. This is because of just how on the water you can be at this restaurant. If you’re familiar with Disney Springs, you probably remember the serene lake in between Disney Springs and neighboring the Saratoga Springs resort. The Boathouse offers indoor and outdoor seating right on this lake. However, there is also an outdoor bar that you have to walk a dock to get to because it’s located on the lake. You can sit surrounded by water and restaurants, getting fantastic views of the fun Disney Springs skyline and nature.

Jaleo by José Andrés at Disney Springs

Jaleo by José Andrés is a nicer dining option at Disney Springs. The menu features mini tapas items and Spain inspired fare. The recipes are authentic as overseen by owner and renowned chef, Jose Andrés. The outdoor seating still comes with the white tablecloth experience.

Paddlefish at Disney Springs

In the Marketplace area of Disney Springs, the restaurant in a building that looks like a boat has been a popular visual over the decades. The restaurant is now called paddlefish. There are many different rooms and places to sit in this boat on the water. There are seats inside with water views, as well as the rooftop. The rooftop bar at Paddlefish gives you a high view of the lake and surrounding Disney Springs area and Saratoga Springs buildings.

Summer House on the Lake at Disney Springs

There are many great options to choose from for dinner and drinks on the water at Disney Springs. Many of them are located on the West Side including Summer House on the Lake. This bright and breezy restaurant opened at Disney Springs in late 2023. There is an outdoor, covered seating area that overlooks the water.

Other Disney Springs Restaurants and Bars on the Water

Some other opportunities to dine on the water at Disney Springs include the casual, outdoor food truck area Exposition Park. Then there are other casual options like the margarita stand or the Dole Whip walk up kiosk in the Marketplace area. These to-go style offerings have beautiful lakeside seating areas as well. One of the nicest places to sit at Disney Springs is at the seating area across from Ghirardelli. You also get fun views of the Rainforest Café volcano across the water which goes off intermittently.

Disney World Restaurants with Water Views

If you like views of the water, but don’t need to be outside or right next to it, Disney’s Contemporary Resort has a few nice options. California Grill is on top of the Contemporary building with the Seven Seas Lagoon on one side and the Bay Lake on the other.

For eligible Members, the Top of the World Lounge also has beautiful water views and great drinks. This Disney Vacation Club lounge is accessible those who have access to Membership Extras.

Lastly, the Outer Rim on the Contemporary’s fourth floor has sweeping views of Bay Lake and the surrounding woods. From this high, you can see far out. The Outer Rim is tucked into a corner and out of the hustle and bustle of the main area. If you’re seated next to a window, you can relax with beautiful view of the water.
