You’ll need lots of energy for a full day at Epic Universe. Get ready to have a latte fun with a stop at Starbucks in the park before you travel through the different portals to adventurous new worlds. There are actually two Starbucks Epic Universe locations, one near the front of the park and one in the middle. One you can access before the park technically opens. The other is further inside the park. You’ll be able to access that one before park opening if you’re a resort guest and able to get in to the areas that are open. Here's everything you need to know about Starbucks at Epic Universe.

Where is Starbucks at Epic Universe

The Starbucks near the front of Epic Universe is on the right side of the park when you walk in. It’s indoors, located underneath the covered walkway. It’s the last door on the right, the entrance is under a little atrium. 

The other Starbucks Epic Universe location is a walk up window outdoors. The small kiosk has a window to order from, a window to pick up from and there is seating outdoors in the area. This Starbucks is actually on the way to, or nearby, the Dark Universe portal. This smaller Starbucks location is by the stage in Celestial Park and has tables with umbrellas and chairs. This is a great place to catch some of the Epic Universe entertainment.

If you want to sit and have Starbucks with a view, both locations are nice. The one in the front of the park has prettier scenes of the Celestial Park fountains and landscaping. The Starbucks near the back of Epic Universe is also close to the very big fountain with stadium seating that surrounds it. It’s close enough that you could grab your order and head there. There are actually impressive fountain shows that happen throughout the day. We caught one at 1:30 pm.

What is the Epic Universe Starbucks like?

It’s beautiful inside but simple, consisting of one switch back queue next to a wall of merchandise, a baked goods glass display and an area to order and pick up. The Celestial Park theme inside consists of light shades of cream and gold, stars, whimsy and a gradient mermaid wall.

Epic Universe You are Here Mug

The Discovery Series drinkware is found at different destinations around the world. As you explore the worlds of Epic Universe, you may want to take one of the Starbucks mugs home with you as a special memento. The Epic Universe You are Here mugs feature the park’s main portal with the chronos and characters from Dark Universe and the Isle of Berk. Super Nintendo World and Wizarding World characters are not featured, probably because they are unique properties. The monsters of Dark Universe are Universal properties and How to Train Your Dragon is from Dreamworks Animation which Universal also owns.

A smaller version is around $19.

Can you pay with your Starbucks app at Epic Universe?

You can pay with your Starbucks app at epic universe. However, similar to other specialty Starbucks locations, you cannot redeem rewards at this location.

There is an additional thing to know about gift cards here. If you’re using your app to pay, if it’s with a gift card, it can’t start with the number is 63. It’s something about when the gift card originated. Maybe this will change at some point.

Is there an AP discount on the Starbucks you are here mug?

Yes, there is a UOAP discount on merchandise at the Epic Universe Starbucks.
