Epcot fully operates during festivals so rides, attractions and shows are open in addition to special offerings there just for the event. A full Epcot arts festival experience will probably include some delicious food and drinks, shopping and observing or participating in art.
Buy special art pieces in all price ranges
Each year, new Disney art pieces made for the event debut. You see temporary tents around the park that serve as small gift shops showcasing art made just for the festival as well as other special pieces. Many artists appear to sign their work that is for sale at the festival. All art isn’t wildly expensive. While there are one of a kind pieces there are also very affordable 5 by 7 inch post card style pieces for less than $10.

Disney Skyliner Maintenance in January
It’s important to note that the resorts on the Disney Skyliner experience downtime for this transportation type annually. The Disney Skyliner closes in January every year for routine maintenance. In 2024 the Skyliner route from Disney’s Riviera Resort to Epcot is closed from January 16th through the 27th. Plan around these dates if Skyliner transportation is a must on your Epcot Festival of the Arts visit.
