IT’S OFFICAL! Princesses and princes, the famous Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique is returning to Disney this August 25. The opening date is confirmed for both Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom and Disneyland. The Walt Disney World Company announced the anticipated news, in the sweetest way with a Royal Proclamation:
Now listen my dears to all that we say
for a special announcement is happening today.
the return of some magic, isn’t it grand,
for all little children throughout the land.
Oh goodness me, the anticipation’s been great.
But worry no more, for we now know the date.
The apprentices will soon be practicing their skills
for those magical transformations and joy they instill.
And the finishing touches are looking so nice,
all with the help of some very talented mice.
So there is just one last thing we must do,
It’s a wave of a wand, bibbidi, bobbidi, boo!
The boutique has been closed since the start of the coronavirus pandemic in 2020, and DVC members have been hitting the blogs on speculations of when the legacy boutique would reopen its doors.
Fairy Godmother’s Apprentices are excited to use their talents for magical makers on guests ages 3 to 12. With the help of our favorite Fairy Godmother and hairstyling, makeup, costumes and accessories, young Disney dreamers will be imagined and transformed into their favorite Disney fairytale characters. And of course, Disney is doing some reimagining with the reopening. There will now be a whole menu of even more options to choose from: including a new hair accessory especially designed for textured hair and costumes and accessories with Disney’s newest heroes and heroines. Superheroes and princesses? We think it goes together as perfectly as Disney and Pixar!
