The Villas at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa
Did you know a tiny team of six ponies pull Cinderella’s carriage? The admired vehicle can often be spotted around Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa whisking brides away to their happily ever after. Disney Vacation Club Members who call the Grand Floridian home might be familiar with the visual of Disney’s Wedding Pavilion that sits in between the DVC building here and the Polynesian resort. This non denominational setting is perfect for weddings of all kinds. A breathtaking chandelier shimmers above the aisle and subtle Disney touches are placed throughout like Cinderella’s coach in the stained glass windows. Disney’s Wedding Pavilion has it all with a beautiful bridal suite for applying finishing touches and restrooms for guests that include more dainty design inspired by the story of the glass slipper princess. At Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa it’s easy to have a group outing for mani pedis with the bridal party or get a massage before the big day. There’s also a salon in the spa with hair and makeup services for convenient beauty appointments right at your resort. With a full convention center and outdoor firework and dessert party venues along the marina the Grand is able to accommodate a range of wedding styles and requests.
Disney’s Beach Club Villas
Disney’s Yacht and Beach Club Resorts share many beautiful amenities and weddings and celebrations here can be big or small, relaxed or chic and indoor or outdoor. From the resorts’ gorgeous Shipwreck Beach setting on Crescent Lake to the convention center ballrooms there’s a range of ceremony and reception magic to make. Disney’s Yacht Club Wedding Gazebo is a cozy, coastal place to say ‘I Do.’ Indoors at Beach Club there’s also Ariel’s. Named after everyone’s favorite mermaid, this ocean inspired private dining room can accommodate up to fifty guests including the happy couple. You may have seen this on your way to Beaches & Cream Soda Shop.
Disney’s BoardWalk Villas
For an outdoor, waterfront ceremony Disney’s BoardWalk presents the covered gazebo Sea Breeze Point. There are also lawn and ballroom spaces at this resort. Disney’s BoardWalk Inn has one of the most secretive spots you can book. In a location above Jellyrolls on the Boardwalk there’s a space called The Attic. It resembles a breezy, beach front cottage, comes with a balcony overlooking the resort’s beautiful waterway and is perfect for small weddings with around 30 guests. What a bright and airy spot for a brunch wedding! The BoardWalk also has the Atlantic Dance Hall which can be rented for weddings and special events. The balconies with fireworks views give this setting a distinct Disney touch. For those who want their guests to dance the night away, this large and flexible space with a huge dance floor can be transformed and personalized with flowers and decor.
