Disneyland DVC Lounge in Tomorrowland

Disneyland DVC Lounge Tomorrowland

Since 1955, Walt Disney’s original theme park has enchanted guests from around the world. World class attractions, inviting restaurants and memorable nighttime spectaculars are just part of what brings vacationers and locals alike through the gates. The magic has expanded and been updated quite a bit over the years. Now eligible Disney Vacation Club Members can enjoy an exclusive space within the park.

The Disneyland DVC Lounge Opens April 19th, 2023

As of its April 19th, 2023 opening, the Disney Vacation Club Star View Station is the first Member Lounge at Disneyland Resort. Like other DVC exclusive spaces, Members must be eligible for all perks in order to enter. This unfortunately means those who purchase resale DVC points alone will not be able to go. A Disneyland park ticket and a park reservation is also needed to visit the Star View Station as it is inside Disneyland Park.

What is Disney Vacation Club Star View Station – a Member Lounge?

The Disney Vacation Club Star View Station is in Tomorrowland on the second floor of the Star Wars: Launch Bay building. Inside, guests can expect a dedicated Disney Vacation Club Member Services team, places to sit and relax, Wi-Fi and charging stations. The lounge is “inspired by Walt Disney’s Walt Disney’s optimistic vision for the future.” The artist concept depicts interesting Disney art inside. Way back when, this building used to house the classic Carousel of Progress attraction. It has been home to different exhibits over the years.

Who Can Visit the Disneyland DVC Lounge?

Not all DVC Members can visit this exclusive space. Disney says this about visiting the Disneyland DVC Lounge: “Ownership interests must be purchased directly from Disney Vacation Development, Inc. and Valid theme park admission (sold separately) and park reservation also required, and park reservations are limited, subject to availability and not guaranteed. Lounges are incidental benefits subject to restrictions, availability, operating hours and capacity, and change or termination without notice.

Other DVC Lounges

Other exclusive Member spaces include Walt Disney World’s Top of the World Lounge at Bay Lake Tower at Disney’s Contemporary Resort and the Member Lounge inside the Imagination Pavilion at EPCOT. At this time, Members joining Disney Vacation Club need to purchase 150 points directly from Disney Vacation Club to access these spaces and other perks like discounts and Member cruises. The Imagination Pavilion DVC lounge was not perceived to be permanent but was recently refurbished in late 2022.

More Disneyland DVC

More Disney Vacation Club magic is headed to Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, California. There is a new Disney Vacation Club Resort that opens in 2023 at The Happiest Place On Earth. The Villas at Disneyland Hotel is a new 12 story tower building at the existing hotel. This home resort joins the other DVC property at Disneyland, The Villas at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel, which has its own special entrance to Disney California Adventure. There are far less resorts at Disneyland compared to Walt Disney World.

Making the Most of DVC with Resale

Though not all perks and benefits are included with DVC resale, the price is still something to consider. It’s possible to save thousands buying resale. If you care about being able to visit neat venues reserved just for certain DVC Members, you’ll want to make sure you buy the minimum amount of points necessary directly from Disney Vacation Club. The number has gone up over time but right now it’s 150 points. If that’s not important to you, resale DVC is a fantastic option because the prices can be so much lower. If you are already a Member and qualify to visit all spaces, adding on points with resale does not affect your ability to enjoy your exclusive benefits. You can, however, get the best of both worlds with Membership Exclusives and resale savings on any other points you add.

Our independent, licensed real estate agents are former Disney Vacation Club Guides with decades of experience so you can expect pixie dusted service and expert insight.
