We’re on a magical tour of the Christmas decorations around Walt Disney World, specifically at Disney Vacation Club resorts here on the DVC Resale Experts blog. With so many beautiful hotels close together near Epcot and Hollywood Studios, you can enjoy trees, garlands and displays of a few different kinds when staying in the area. Let’s take a peek at Disney’s Boardwalk Christmas 2021 decorations.

Disney’s Boardwalk Christmas 2021
In Christmas times of the past, guests could enjoy a gingerbread display at the Boardwalk Inn. There isn’t a gingerbread scene in Disney’s Boardwalk Christmas 2021 decor line up but it is still one of the most charming resorts this time of year. If you’re staying at Disney’s Boardwalk Villas you can, however, enjoy a gingerbread display within walking distance. Disney’s Beach Club has a gingerbread carousel themed to The Little Mermaid and characters from the film in 2021. As for Disney’s Boardwalk, the lobby is already splendid to look at with it’s bright interior and antique gold accents.

The Boardwalk features one of the smaller lobbies, compared to others like the Grand Floridian or Animal Kingdom Lodge, and the oversized Christmas decorations really fill it nicely. For Disney fans that remember the little details, even those famous Boardwalk lobby chairs with faces next to the fireplace seem jolly this time of year. The Christmas trees and garlands at the Boardwalk feature fitting vintage vibes that complete the old carnival theme of the resort. Guests are greeted with stunning, tall trees and surrounded by glamorous garlands when checking in.

The ornaments decking the halls here intentionally whisper back to simpler times. There are shiny and sparkly draped crystal strings, animal art pieces and colorful candies delightfully decorating the Christmas tree branches. The color palette is bright and cheery on the Boardwalk Christmas decor yet it still feels quintessentially Christmas with candy cane striped curls reaching out and on top.

It’s always good to set expectations and if you happen to be staying at Disney’s Boardwalk this season, or visiting on your trip, note that there is a bit of loud construction and freshening up going on outdoors around the lawn behind the lobby. In this area you’ll also find a large outdoor Christmas tree that’s worth taking a close look at. Shiny red bulbs are loaded into the abundance of gold garlands giving off classic Christmas feels. The vintage looks are present here too with carousel horses, jingle bells and peppermint candy ornaments. This extra large Christmas tree makes for a perfect holiday time photo op on your DVC stay.

Nighttime walks around the Boardwalk are already very pretty with the glow of the string lights. There are quite a few dining options in this area making it a nice DVC resort to stay at. The walking paths and boat transportation to Epcot and Hollywood Studios add value to a Boardwalk Villa stay as well.
