Disney merchandise is just about as reliable as the sun. That golden circle rises up over the horizon everyday and the new Disney merchandise just keeps coming. In the past, new merchandise wasn’t introduced quite as frequently. Now, it’s impossible to keep up with all of Disney’s brand collaborations, seasonal product debuts, merchandise for special events and more. The list goes on and on. And for Disney Vacation Club Members, there’s an additional merchandise category to seek out! Plenty of Disney Vacation Club merchandise has popped up from hats, ears and apparel to Alex and Ani bracelets, Tervis tumblers and Dooney and Bourke bags.
Retro DVC Loungefly, Ears and Spirit Jersey
We spotted this neat, matching retro DVC Loungefly, ears and Spirit Jersey set at Conch Flats General Store at Disney’s Old Key West Resort in early August. Conch Flats General Store is one of the best places to find Disney Vacation Club merchandise at Walt Disney World Resort. Most DVC resort properties have a selection of DVC items but options vary. These pieces are sold separately but match perfectly as they’re part of a collection.
The color palette on this DVC Loungefly and matching Mickey ears and Spirit Jersey is fit for the seventies. The retro vibes don’t stop there. The font and classic Mickey are also in the visual style of yesteryear. These designs have a fun amount of magic and nostalgia and go together perfectly. If you look closely, you’ll see a moon above Mickey on the Spirit Jersey and above the castle on the ears. This feels like it could be a cute nod to the DVC exclusive event Moonlight Magic. The DVC Loungefly backpack has adjustable straps that are orange on top and striped in the color palette on the bottom. The ears are a silky, smooth material. The Spirit Jersey has a cute logo on the front in addition to the brand’s notable massive design on the back.
The retro Mickey ears headband is $29.99, the matching DVC Loungefly backpack is $85.00 and the DVC Spirit Jersey is $79.99. These prices are all in line with what’s we’d expect compared to other similar items. A Cast Member shared they had seen this style of DVC Loungefly in store before but it sold out quickly. It’s unclear if it will be restocked again. The Conch Flats General Store at Disney’s Old Ket West Resort is typically open from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
