7 Must Try Summer Drinks

7 Must Sip Beverages: Grown-Ups Only

When Walt Disney was dreaming up the most magical place on earth, serving alcohol to guests was not in his vision. Even though Walt never was able to see Magic Kingdom on opening day, it remained a “dry” park in his honor… until 2012. There are people that feel strongly on both sides, whether boozy drinks should be available for purchase on Walt Disney World Resorts, but Disney’s test run at Epcot, Hollywood Studios, and Animal Kingdom was a success and in 2012 Magic Kingdom would no longer be the only “dry” park. Disney is a vacation for all, and sometimes big kids over 21 want to enjoy a refreshing alcoholic beverage on their vacation! Here are 7 summer beverages you will want to sip on on your next Disney Vacation Club Vacation!

#1 La Cava Avocado Margarita

La Cava del Tequila, EPCOT

Tromba Blanco Tequila, Melon Liqueur, fresh avocado lime juice, and a hibiscus salt rim. The tequila flavor in here is subtle and not overwhelming, and the avocado blended with melon liquor is the perfect summer sip around the World Showcase.

#2 Orange Mango Fire Margarita

La Hacienda in Mexico, EPCOT

El Mayor premium silver tequila and ginger liqueur, with a  healthy twist of orange and fresh mango juices. The beverage is rimmed with Tajin chili powder and has a dash of Tabasco to bring a spicy finish to this must have cocktail.

#3 Grand Marnier Orange Slush

France Pavillon, EPCOT

Elsa’s ice powers may have helped blend this beverage, filled to the top with Grey Goose, Grand Marnier, a splash of rum, and fresh orange juice.

#4 Hippopotomai-Tai

Trader Sam’s Enchanted Tiki Bar, Polynesian Resort

Coruba Dark Rum, Bacardi Superior Rum, Bols Orange Curaçao, Orgeat (Almond), organic agave nectar, and fresh lime juice.

#5 Frozen Rum and Coke

Peevy’s Polar Pipeline, Disney’s Hollywood Studios

Keep it simple, a frozen blend of Rum and Coke.

#6 Rosa Regale

Auntie Gravity’s Galactic Goodies, Magic Kingdom

Sparkling Red Wine, DOLE Whip strawberry, and a fresh strawberry slice.

#7 Marvelous Watermelon Margarita

Boardwalk Joe’s Marvelous Margaritas, Disney’s Boardwalk

Patrón Silver Tequila, Watermelon, Lime Juice and Sweet-and-Sour
