If you're a last minute shopper or completely forgot you wanted to match, your friendly neighborhood Walmart has you covered. There's a Walmart right down the street from Disney. It's not a regular Walmart. It's a magical Walmart. You'll see what I mean when you walk in. There are banners advertising tickets to the theme parks and it feels very Disney centric. They know they cater to tourists and they do it well. There's actually an entire section of Disney merchandise in with the clothing. You might find classic looking red t-shirts with Mickey ear hat designs and names of family members like "grandma." There are definitely matching Disney family vacation shirts to be found at the Walmart near Disney World.

It would be easy to take an Uber, Lyft or taxi to this Walmart. It opens early and closes late so it's perfect for a late night stop on a travel day. Not everyone has a Walmart in their corner of the world. As a quick introduction, Walmart also has great prices on groceries and a wide selection of items including everything from home goods and toiletries to toys. This particular Walmart location has an extensive selection of Disney items. There are also end caps that cater to tourists with items like handheld fans, coolers and sunscreen. The closest Walmart to Disney World is about ten to twenty minutes away from Disney resorts depending on where you are staying on property. The closest DVC resorts are Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas, Disney's Beach Club Villas and Disney's BoardWalk Villas. The furthest are Magic Kingdom area resorts that are on the opposite side of property like Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort and The Villas at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort.

Target Near Disney World Has a Disney Section

There are also two different Target stores nearby. One has an entire Disney section in the front of the store. Yes, right next to the cards and home decor is a whole lot of magical merchandise made with vacationers in mind. This is different than the Disney Store in Target. It's a section that includes theme park focused items that you might wear to or use at the parks. It also has souvenirs for a much better price than you'd find in the parks. Here there are plenty of shirts and matching accessories for families and couples.

Another Target very close to the Western Way Walt Disney World entrance gate does have the official Disney Store partnership section inside. This address below is for the Flamingo Crossings Target. This area was put together by Disney and has official housing for college and international program participants nearby. This may be the closer option depending on where you're staying on property but the other location may have more touristy items, like matching shirts, to choose from.
