Disneyland Vacation Packages

Disneyland Vacation Packages

Disneyland is known as the happiest place on earth. Since 1955, the original Disney Park in Anaheim, California has been bringing joy to its visitors. Maybe it’s the charming nostalgia, the fireworks that wow crowds or the delicious treats around every corner. There’s something for everyone. Let’s price out some a Disneyland vacation package and discuss differences in choices and prices.

What are Disneyland Vacation Packages?

For starters, let’s go over what Disneyland vacation packages consist of these days. Basically you’ll choose from one of three Disneyland Resort Hotels. There’s Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa, Disneyland Hotel and Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel. Then you’ll need park tickets. There are two parks so if you want to be able to go to either of them in a single day you will need to get the park hopper add on.

Other costs outside of the vacation package may include extras like Disney Genie+. This is a paid version of FastPass that debuted in 2021. Disney Genie+ is $20 per person, per day at Disneyland. Then there’s food. Disneyland Resort doesn’t offer a dining package for your trip overall. There are some dining experiences that also give you guaranteed preferred seating like the World of Color Dining Package. These should be booked in advance. Dining at Disneyland is an absolute delight with many quick service options being just as exciting as sit down restaurants. You do not need a car to get around Disneyland Resort. Everything is within walking distance. The three official Disney resorts are very close to the parks and it’s a breeze to go between parks during the day.

You can easily start to price out Disneyland vacation packages on the top of Disneyland.com by entering potential travel dates. Many choose to book a trip through an Authorized Disney Travel Planner. They can help you discover things you never knew you never knew and not miss any colors of the wind. Disneyland Resort is much smaller and easier to get around than its east coast counterpart Walt Disney World Resort. It’s also easier to plan vacations at Disneyland and definitely doable if you prefer to plan your own trips.

How much are Disneyland Vacation Packages?

Disneyland vacation packages vary greatly based on the time of year you plan to visit and the hotel and room type you choose. Ticket prices are also dynamic and cost more during peak times. For December 12th through the 16th of 2022, for a room with a Premium View that sleeps up to five guests at Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel and two five day park hopper tickets, the total is $3,137.74.
