Round Up Rodeo Lasso’in in this 2022

Roundup Rodeo BBQ

Calling all toys! Since Disney released Toy Story in 1995, Disney has been making us all quickly run back into our rooms to see if our toys come to life, and now Disney is doing one better: Disney is letting us become toy sized. How? Introducing the Round up Rodeo Restaurant in Toy Storyland in Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

The Walt Disney World Company announced news of the Round Up Rodeo Restaurant in 2019, and we have not heard any updates since then. The delay is most definitely due to the pandemic and most guests suspected that this restaurant would never fully come to life. But, Disney is in the business of making dreams come true, not stomping their cowboy boots on them! This Western restaurant with barbecue fare will be hitting Hollywood Studios this year…even though it might have felt like we’ve been waiting for infinity and beyond.

Andy is the mastermind behind the restaurant’s atmosphere, and Disney diners will feel like they themselves are one of Andy’s toys eating fried chicken on one of his infamous play sets. The experience is made to feel like three cardboard boxes taped together in Andy’s backyard lasso’d with a buffet of colors to create a childlike toy rodeo arena, satisfying the imaginations of toys and humans alike.  Although, it is Western themed, all of our favorite toys will play a part in this dining experience (even those from space and Barbie’s dream house.) The menu is yet to be released, but we can bet our boots that there will be lots of meat, cheese and potato options. And after running around the park all day, this will definitely be the spot to carb up. Calories don’t count for toys, right?

Once you are in the dining room, the toys will come to life in an interactive way like we’ve never seen them before! This recipe for creativity will be sure to be a family favorite.

A menu or opening date is not available yet, but as soon as it is, we will get it to you faster than you can say, “There’s a snake in my boot!”
