Fourth of July Fireworks are Back!

Fourth of July Fireworks are Back!

For the first time since 2019, the highly anticipated Independence Day fireworks are back at Magic Kingdom!  Disney’s Celebrate America!- A Fourth of July Concert in the Sky is back for two days only this July 3-July 4, 2023. There was a rumor going around some DVC sites that Disney would not bring back the fireworks, but we have learned that during Disney’s 50th Anniversary, that Disney always has some extra magic up its sleeve- and this time it’s in the sky. Disney’s Celebrate America!- A Fourth of July Concert in the Sky will be back again to celebrate the country that the happiest place in the world is in, honoring all those who helped shape America to become what we know and love today. If your DVC vacation is the first week of July- you will not want to miss this limited edition patriotic fireworks spectacular! Reservations for Magic Kingdom are filling up fast, so make sure to book your tickets as soon as possible.

Disney’s Celebrate America!- A Fourth of July Concert in the Sky will hit the skies at 9:20pm in front of Cinderella’s Castle on Main Street USA, so be sure to get your Mickey Ice Cream Bar and get a good spot for the show!

There is also a rumor that Disney Springs will be showing a Fourth of July Fireworks Display over the Rivers of America this year. While Disney Springs does not do fireworks for New Years Eve, it has displayed an Independence Day spectacular in the past, and we are hoping they do again.

Epcot is also another great spot to celebrate the Fourth of July. The America country stop around the world goes over the top for America’s birthday. You can bet on seeing our favorite Disney friends in true red, white, and blue gear and special treats for imagined just for the occasion.

No matter what park you decide to celebrate Independence Day in this July, be sure to stay hydrated and pack for weather changes. The first week of July is known for hot weather and sudden rain showers, so make sure to pack accordingly. If you don’t, there’s always a Mickey poncho or Goofy umbrella available for purchase!

We are thankful for all of those who have given their lives for us and our country, and are excited to celebrate them and America this July.
