Disney Vacation Club opens up a world of travel possibilities. That’s not just a play on words either. The magic of Disney Parks and destinations may be what draws people in but there’s more to DVC. DVC Members can use their points to book additional hotels outside of the fifteen official Disney Vacation Club properties. This is done through DVC travel exchange partner Interval International. As of 2022, Disney switched to Interval International which replaced RCI as the designated travel exchange partner. All Disney Vacation Club owners are able to use the affiliated exchange partner.
Interval International is Disney Vacation Club’s Exchange Partner
Part of the flexibility of Disney Vacation Club is being able to use your points to book at different resorts aside from your home resort. While most are eager to use their points at Disney Destinations like Walt Disney World Resort each year, it’s nice to have options when using your timeshare. With resale there are some limitations to the flexibility of DVC points, especially for those who purchase at Disney’s Riviera Resort. However, resale DVC Members are still able to use Disney Vacation Club’s exchange partner Interval International. Disney Vacation Club made the move from RCI to Interval International in December of 2021. Interval International partners with different timeshares. Some based on points, some based on weeks. DVC is point based of course. This partnership enables Members to book at properties around the world like those of Marriott Vacation Club, Holiday Inn Club Vacations and others.
