How do you make an offer on DVC resale?

If you have a favorite meal at each Disney restaurant you go to and want to plan another trip as soon as you’re headed home from the parks, Disney Vacation Club is probably a good fit. Buying a resale Disney Vacation Club can save you thousands when compared to buying direct from Disney. With a resale transaction, you won’t be dealing with Disney Vacation Club directly. So how do you make an offer on DVC resale? It can be done online actually and pretty quickly, too! With the help of a licensed real estate broker, the whole resale DVC process is smooth as your professional knows how to help in all situations.

How do you make an offer on DVC resale?

DVC Resale Experts has made browsing available resale contracts easy and convenient. You can use the arrows at the top of each category to order details important to you like lowest to highest price or putting resorts in alphabetical order. Tap the category again to toggle the order to the opposite like highest to lowest point value. The categories include listing ID, resort, points, price per point, use year, points available, deed expiration, price, savings and status.

When clicked on, each contract lists more details like the dues per point, annual dues, closing costs and comments. The comment section will include important information like if the contract has an international seller. Fun fact: Contracts sold by an international seller are less likely to be purchased back by Disney through the Right of First Refusal process.

Once you’ve found the right contract for you, follow these steps to make an offer online. On any DVC Resale Experts DVC resale listing you’ll see a ‘submit offer’ section if you scroll down. The first thing to fill out is the listing ID. This is the alphanumeric sequence, like BLT38610, found in the title. Then you’ll be able to fill in what you’d like to offer for the price per point. The closing costs and 2022 annual dues are next. Remember the commission is paid by the seller and closing costs are typically paid by the buyer along with annual dues on available points as they will be the new owner’s to use. There are just a few more details to share, like if you’re financing or paying in full upfront, and your contact information.

If you need assistance with submitting your offer, there is a ‘chat with us’ feature for quick questions or you’re welcome to email or call DVC Resale Experts! At this point you’ll probably be wondering, how long until you hear back about your offer?
